Honoree's for Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library Gala 2024 are iconic athlete, Diana Nyad, who will be added to the Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes exhibit; Stars of the HBO MAX documentary, “The Stroll” will be honored for their film and courage in addressing the harshness of life for so many trans women of color and their strength in survival; Stacy Ritter, president of Visit Lauderdale, who in her role has kept Broward County a warm and welcoming place for all people to visit, live, and work. Her willingness to do what is right, even in the face of extreme political pressure sets her apart from most others in these turbulent times.

Last years’ Gala had a record number of guests and was the organization’s most successful fundraiser to date. The Gala is Stonewall’s largest fundraising event generating a significant part of the organization’s budget.

The Indian River Fairgrounds is the perfect venue since it’s right in the heart of Indian River County. It offers the space we need along with free great parking for our guests. The Marine Flea Market is easily accessible from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike and there are acres of free parking.

Although delicious seafood will be the highlight of this festival, craft beer, wine, and drinks will also be available at a full service bar to quench the thirst of patrons enjoying food, live music, rides and fun.
